I was already very upset after spending the night with a high fever and feeling too weak to get up in time for checkout. Then I was charged a €50 late checkout fee. The policy hadn’t been mentioned anywhere, and no one from the hotel contacted me to explain it or show any understanding. In an obvious case of illness, I’d hoped for some compassion, but was met with indifference and rigidity. It’s really disappointing from a place that presents itself as welcoming and guest-oriented.

Daniel at the Wanderlust was fantastic. We reached Bardolino very late in the off-season, and our original hotel wasn’t even open. He found us a room, helped us park the car and carry our luggage, and treated us like royalty. After a long drive, that friendly, easy check-in was such a relief. Highly recommend!

The staff really make the difference here. They treat you like part of their Italian family, and the room was beautiful too. We stayed one night with breakfast and parked the car in the hotel 'garden'. A few things we loved: the hot rooftop pool, the Italian house music after breakfast, and the candy table at reception. Sorry, I ate so much! We also asked for a later checkout, and the owner said, “No problem, my pleasure!” Great location and really nice rooms.

The spa area was one of the services we especially enjoyed, and the top-floor view of the lake and whole town was stunning. We spent a weekend at Wanderlust Hotel and had a very positive experience. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, and the building, common areas, and room were all clean, well maintained, and organized. The staff and owner were very friendly. The price felt fair and well worth it. We’ll definitely return to Wanderlust for future vacations.

The pedestrian area just behind the hotel is amazing, with great restaurants, ice cream spots, and lots of boutiques for shopping. The hotel itself is new, with air conditioning and parking. Great location, and a really good hotel run by a lovely family, from the father to the kids. I highly recommend it.
