We could hear everything from the other rooms every night because there’s no soundproofing. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the center, and the traffic is horrible, though you can find a great bar called free spirit nearby. Still, it’s a good, cheap place for a couple of nights in Milano. It’s clean, the staff are very kind, and they speak English, which seems rare in Italy. Enjoy your stay.

We were made very welcome with our small child and two dogs, and whenever we came back to the room it smelled fresh and clean. The café breakfasts were great, especially the coffee, and the staff were incredibly kind and professional. For a place advertised as two stars, the service was genuinely superb. I’d definitely recommend it. One thing, though: I’d avoid the café across the street. It felt like a real tourist trap.

After booking a nine-night stay in one room over the phone, I was told at 9:00 PM that reception had closed for the night. They knew I was due to land at the airport at 10:00 PM, so I couldn’t arrive as planned and had to change my arrangements at the last minute. Professionalism and courtesy clearly aren’t the norm.
