Agriturismo PURO

We only had two nights at Agritourismo Puro, and wished we’d left more time to relax there and cook. Lucy and Leo have a lovely vegetable garden guests can use, and they made us feel very welcome. The restored barn is beautifully done, with old and contemporary details working together. The kitchen is lovely, the beds and bedding feel luxurious, and the bathroom has nice touches and products. There’s also a jacuzzi in the main bedroom with a view, though we never got to try it. Barga is an easy walk away, with its quaint streets, good restaurants and laid-back, arty feel. The house sits in majestic Tuscan countryside, and the views from the windows and the sunsets are unforgettable. We’d give it 10 out of 5 and will be back.

The host was very friendly and helped us a lot with getting around. There’s no breakfast, but it’s easy to cook for yourself, and bars in the wonderful medieval town of Barga are a 10-minute walk away. We stayed a couple of days and loved the views from inside the rooms. It’s a classic Tuscan-style house with lovely interiors, and the kitchenware and other amenities were all brand new. There aren’t many attractions nearby, but being here was a real pleasure. Perfetto!

The hosts were so welcoming, and the accommodation and its location were beautiful. I loved every bit of my stay in Tuscany and would definitely recommend it.
