The staff at reception and in cleaning were exceptionally kind and helpful at check-in and check-out. Gabrielle was our contact and always gave us the information we needed with a smile. They even let us leave our suitcases there for six hours after checkout, so we didn’t have to carry them around the city. There was also a generous amount of free food and snacks in both the room and the shared breakfast area, which was a nice surprise. As someone who loves culture, I also appreciated that the original old balcony doors had been kept as part of the room’s vintage atmosphere. New doors had been installed too, so there was noise reduction, privacy and safety.

The host was extremely responsive and helped us with everything we needed. The location is excellent, with metro, railway and bus stations very close by, and the main shopping street and old center are about a 15-minute walk away. The room had everything, including breakfast food and prosciutto. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the thin walls, since you could sometimes hear the neighbors clearly.

The owner was lovely, came to greet us, and walked us through how everything worked. Our apartment was large and had two double beds, a big table, TV, and plates, glasses, and cups. Breakfast was set up in a little kitchen outside the room, with a shelf in the fridge stocked with eggs, toast, ham, cheese, cookies, coffee, milk, and fruit. There was even a wine rack; if we wanted a bottle, we could leave the price written on it. That made the stay feel extra convenient. We were really happy we booked, thank you! ❤️ One practical note if you're driving: the pay-and-display parking outside isn't the property's fault, but you need cash. It costs 1 euro per hour from 8:30 to 20:30.

It's a nice, cozy place with breakfast included, and I'd still recommend staying here. But the mornings were rough: two women shouted in the corridor, so sleeping in wasn't possible. The bathroom had what I think was shower gel, but no shampoo or conditioner. Check-in was also awkward. While we were carrying our bags up two flights, the woman wouldn't hand over the keys until both guests had signed, even though we'd paid in full. One of us had to stay with the car while the other hauled the luggage upstairs, and there isn't a lift.
