b&b boutique four rooms bari

The rooms are okay and the location is central, but this isn’t a hotel or a real bed and breakfast. There’s no breakfast, just a basic coffee machine and dry, wrapped snacks in a cramped, overheated shared area. The photos of a “library” are seriously misleading. There’s no on-site host or service either. You get keypad instructions and brief WhatsApp messages, so when someone started banging on the front door at 2am, there was nobody there to deal with it. We’ve also been trying for a month to get help about an item we left behind, but the owner or manager won’t reply, even after mediation. Someone is making a lot of money from this property without offering the bare minimum. Stay somewhere else.

The rooms were big, clean, warm, and the A/C worked! The owner and staff were amazing and very helpful, and it was easy to get in touch with them. A really nice place to stay in Bari, close to the Old Town, the beach, and the main things to see.

For a short stay, the room was perfectly adequate if all you need is somewhere to sleep and shower. Federico was very friendly, showed us everything, and communication with him was excellent. The room faced the street, so there was quite a bit of noise at night, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The location was excellent, close to the beach and center, where you can eat and explore Bari’s beautiful townhouses. Water and coffee were included and available in the kitchenette, and the bathroom had towels and shower gel.

The suite had beautiful furnishings and plenty of thoughtful details. But the cleaning was nowhere near as careful. The area by the coffee machine was extremely dirty, with coffee spilled on the floor and wall, hair throughout the room, and dust on the bedside tables. We stood outside in the cold for about 20 minutes waiting to check in, despite having agreed to give 20 minutes’ notice. I’m giving one star for the dirt and the owner’s indifference. I sent her photos, and she viewed them without replying.
