B&B Palazzo San Michele

When we got in late at night, the jacuzzi was empty, which makes sense since it takes time to fill and should be reserved ahead. The staff, who also work at the very busy restaurant next door, carried our bags upstairs while we waited to check in. I felt a bit awkward at first, but those stairs are steep and narrow, and the white walls were spotless, so I was glad someone who knew the place handled the luggage. We stayed here on our first night in Italy in early June 2023. The owners and staff were very friendly, and both bedroom and bathroom were great. Breakfast was the usual Italian spread of sweets and coffee; we asked for fresh orange juice and got a lovely large glass. The B&B is brilliantly placed between the old town and the shopping streets and terraces. I'd definitely recommend it.

There are only two rooms in the building, but the service felt like a big hotel. The place was spotless, and the owner and staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel like a holiday. The flat itself is modern, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Its position is hard to beat, on a quiet street right among the old town, shopping area, and harbour. If you're heading to Bari, this is a great place to stay.

We tried both of their restaurants, the traditional one and the gourmet one, and liked them both. The room, service, and people were amazing too. My favorite part was the clean, cozy jacuzzi on the top floor.

Lovely people, a cozy room, and a beautiful breakfast.
