B&B Waltanna Airport

Think of it as a B&B in a large apartment with three rooms, rather than a hotel. Our room had two separate beds, a comfortable bathroom, air conditioning and good Wi-Fi. It was very clean, with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer provided. Entry was by code at the main door, then a key for the room. Breakfast was enough for a B&B, with coffee, tea, juice, water, croissants, bread, jam and chocolate. There’s a pizzeria nearby, and the train station is about a 10-minute walk away. The airport is also reasonably close: 27 minutes on foot, or a train or taxi for 15 EUR. The owner was very good at keeping in touch with guests. Thank you!

Handy place near the airport for a night while travelling. There was too much noise from other guests at night, and the beds felt a little hard on my back, but it was an okay place to stay.

I did get to check in early, which was the one good thing. This is a B&B in an apartment with three rooms, not a hotel, and the location was really inconvenient for me. A taxi from the airport cost 15 euro. The staff were among the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. I arrived a bit early hoping to leave my bags, and an owner who didn’t speak English said she’d come in 20 minutes. She never showed up. A cleaner who also didn’t speak English eventually let me in. The next day I asked if I could work in the common area because there was Wi-Fi, like you might do in a hotel reception. They told me I had to leave, with more rude comments. I’ve never been treated that badly.

We stayed here for an early flight. The rooms were good, breakfast was a very simple ready-to-eat spread already set out in the dining room when we checked in, and a morning taxi cost 12 euros.
