Campus Hotel

We paid €157 and felt completely taken advantage of. The price was a scam for conditions this unacceptable, and it's shocking this place is still operating. We only stayed because we had no other option. The room was in awful shape: mold in the shower, no hot water, no toilet paper, broken curtains, and a broken door handle that meant we couldn't properly secure it. The appliances were ancient and didn't work, and the fridge wasn't even plugged in. The elevator was very old and felt unsafe. From arrival, the location felt intimidating, and the check-in host made us uncomfortable despite seeming to try to help. The employees were children, impolite, and unable to understand English. In an emergency, I'd pay no more than €15. That's all it was worth.

I paid €140 for one night in October, far too much for this place. The rooms are big, but the furniture is old and moldy, and the bathroom is falling apart. You can't use the bidet, and the toilet was supposedly cleaned but still had mold on it. There were broken doors, moldy walls, dirty windows, and a filthy balcony. Disgusting.

The bed and room service were the only good parts. I can't think of anything else to praise. The toilet was leaking and broken into about ten pieces, glued back together with silicone. There was mold on the ceiling and rust in the shower. WiFi only worked near reception, not on the floor or in the room. I've stayed in better two-star hotels, so I don't think this place deserves three stars. Maybe it did 40 years ago.

The bed was really comfy and the rooms are spacious, but the place feels quite outdated. It's about 2 km from the city centre. The main problem is the internet: there's no connection even though WiFi is advertised. Most of the staff don't speak English.
