I love this place.

The rooms were clean, lovely, and had extraordinary views, and breakfast was generous. The property is right in the center of Longiano, with competitive prices and staff who were super friendly and always available. This was my second stay in the area, and I’ll definitely come back. A wonderful find.

We chose the hotel through a special event deal, though when I checked, there wasn’t actually a discount. The site listed a quadruple room with breakfast at €130 per night, while we paid €110 without breakfast. We’d misunderstood and thought breakfast was included. When we realized our mistake and raised it calmly, the woman was grumpy, almost rude, and said we could end the relationship right then if that was the situation. A few days before arrival, I’d tried calling all day for information and got no answer, despite the website saying reception is always open. We arrived about 45 minutes early and only wanted to ask if the room was ready. We were happy to wait until the agreed time, but the receptionist seemed annoyed and didn’t greet us, even though we were polite and helpful. The lack of courtesy was the main issue for us. The pool was very dirty, with feathers and debris both on the surface and bottom, including a big mess on the first step into the water. The umbrellas were lying on the ground, so we had to set them up ourselves. In the room, the air conditioning only let us change the fan speed, not the temperature, and there wasn’t even a light blanket or bedspread if it got chilly. The hotel is near the center in a quiet spot, with a pool overlooking the view. Our room was clean and the bathroom was new, though the shower curtain was uncomfortable. The price in Longiano was competitive, which is why I gave the stay a passing grade. These problems would be easy to overlook with helpful, friendly people who made us feel at home, but that wasn’t our experience.

Longiano has a pleasant hillside setting, and this property is conveniently close to the historic center. Parking is available in front or in a private area. We stayed almost a week and found the place rustic but warm and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable, the pool quite large, and the restaurant had good choices for lunch and dinner. Service was top-notch, with staff just as courteous. I highly recommend it.
