Casa Ninetta - Bari Centro

The check-in process and contact with the company or host were good. But the location didn’t work for us. Every room except the bathroom faces the railway, and with quite a lot of trains passing, it’s rarely quiet during the day. The windows don’t block much of the noise, and the crossing bell rings loudly whenever a train goes by, more or less all day. With our six-month-old daughter, we couldn’t make this place work. Luckily, we were able to cut our stay short and get the money back for the unused nights.

This brand-new apartment is spacious and bright, on the fourth floor. It’s a 20-minute walk from the station, so we needed taxis. If you’re traveling by car, there’s a three-level parking garage about 200 meters away, which could be handy. The downside is the railway just outside: a bell rings every 10 minutes to warn travelers about incoming trains, and the trains themselves are noisy until midnight.

The interior was nice, but the railway tracks nearby made it noisy. The worst part came a week after we left, when we were told the owner wanted an extra €50 for clearing a drain. It wasn't caused by us, and we'd already reported the issue while we were staying there. So, unfortunately, our experience was negative.

The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen looked brand new. The property is clean, furnished to a good standard, and close to the center of Bari.
