We booked directly, without a platform, months in advance. On the day, while we were traveling to the property, I messaged the owner to say we were on our way. That's when she told me there'd been a booking problem and the room was occupied. She hadn't even remembered my last name 🤣. Is that normal? We were left without a room. Where's the professionalism? Months earlier, I'd asked in an audio message if I could be sure the booking was confirmed and whether I should pay or leave a deposit. Her exact reply was: “NO MADNESS, REFRESHMENT, MORE, YOU CAN REMAIN PEACEFUL.” She blamed Booking for putting a reservation in. But if you don't close the date, the room stays available there and someone can book it even that same day, despite my having booked months before. At least it was only one night. Imagine if we'd booked several. She kindly found us another hotel, but it cost more, and the room was a bit shabby. There was a fair in town, hotels were full, and we had very little time to find anything else because we already had a detailed itinerary and train tickets for a train that left on time. The extra €14 isn't the main point, though she should have covered it since it was her mistake. She said she'd call me back about the €14, but she never did, and she hasn't even seen my last message. I'm not someone who argues. That's not my nature. I've always tried to understand people who are working, tired, and dealing with all kinds of things. But I can't accept this kind of indifference. Respect has to go both ways. I hope this never happens to you.

The hosts welcomed us very nicely, and there was private, gated, secure parking about 30 meters away. The basement apartment had lovely decor, clean bed linens and a comfortable bed. For one night, it was fine, but no more than that. There's no real view, just a small green patch hiding an empty lot. Noise carries from the apartment above. The morning croissants were a thoughtful touch, though they weren't very fresh. There were enough coffee pods for one coffee per person. The mattress and pillows could use a thorough cleaning.

The hostess was kind, and the rooms and amenities were excellent. It's a peaceful place, nice for a quiet break. If you're going to a concert, it's also handy for reaching San Nicola stadium quickly and easily by car.

I booked one night with bed and breakfast, but there was no air conditioning in the rooms and no coffee provided. I wouldn't recommend it.
