Habari We Dorm

A lovely initiative, this felt like more than just a hostel. We went for New Year's Eve, and the location was great, close to both the sea and the center. The rooms were quite clean, the staff friendly, and the kitchen and dining space felt spacious and homey.

The place seems warm and welcoming, but the price is hard to justify when you can find similar stays in Bari for €10 less and get much better service. Habari’s real issue is the condominium, which can make staying there feel like being caught up in Kafka’s The Trial. About the owner’s reply: we already discussed this directly on WhatsApp, and it only confirms my impression. I’d hoped for a constructive response and some willingness to look ahead. I’m open to revisiting what happened if I’m met with the same attitude. As long as it’s all about appearances, though, it’s a shame. Never say never.

The room was huge and full of interesting things. If you’re into geography, you’ll enjoy all the maps around the place, and you can have fun while learning, too. The staff were kind and trusting, and helped me so much that they even gave me their key. I really appreciated that. Love from Armenia. 💕🤗

I read a few reviews saying there’s nowhere to meet other travelers and no social atmosphere, but I met people every day in the big dining room. If you want that kind of vibe, you can help make it yourself 😉 I spent a week at Habari and loved it. The hostel was clean, more like an apartment, in a really nice building. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always smiling at me, which melted my heart ❤️
