We booked a standard room and were moved to a lovely one with a jacuzzi. When a few things went wrong, the owner dealt with them as quickly as he could, which made our stay much better. It's also handy for the city center and main roads, so it's a good option.

We were traveling with a small child, so after seeing the room we decided not to stay. There were odd stains on its walls, and in the shared garden between the rooms we saw what might have been a very large cockroach or a small rat. From the brief time we were there, the place also seemed to be used as a meeting spot for adult professional activities. We didn't find the cleaning or general hygiene adequate, as other reviews have mentioned. When we raised these concerns, the manager was aggressive and showed no understanding. We can't recommend this hotel.

There were guests in all the rooms when we arrived, but it was still quiet, and people were friendly with each other. The doors all locked securely, which made us feel safe. The room was comfortable and modern, with useful things like an oven, washing machine, TV and an outdoor table for coffee. WiFi worked really well, too. It's close to the town center and plenty of markets, with a 24/7 vending machine nearby for snacks and drinks. The staff were very friendly. I recommend it to people visiting Bari.

A clean, well-equipped apartment in a handy spot, very close to the train station and Bari's old town. They'd even put a toy in the crib for our baby.
