The location was perfect for an overnight stay, and the large shower and balcony were great. Everything was clean, and there was even a fridge with water. Thank you.

The room was a decent size, the location was good, and the bed was large and comfortable. Still, a lot went wrong and made the stay unpleasant. I can’t recommend this booking. The listing advertised a bar, and that was one of the main reasons we booked. When we asked the host when it closed, we found out there was no bar. The host pointed to the room’s mini fridge and called it a “bar fridge,” but it wasn’t stocked. It had only two waters and no other drinks. There was no cleaning service either, and the host reminded me this was a guest room rental, not a hotel. The shower was a disaster. Its door wouldn’t open all the way because it hit the toilet, so you had to squeeze between the door and the wall. The water kept changing temperature, sometimes turning very cold mid-shower, and the pressure was poor and got worse as the shower went on. There wasn’t enough pressure to wash my wife’s hair. The coffee machine didn’t work properly, so we had to use the kettle and instant coffee instead. We were on the fifth floor, with a lift that fits one person. Getting up took a long time if you were with someone else or in a group, so you could end up taking the stairs. It was loud, with neighbors and people in the hallway easy to hear. There also weren’t enough outlets. They were all in use, including the ones you’d need if you wanted to set up a laptop at the desk. On the plus side, the AC worked, the Wi-Fi was quick, and we could message the host on WhatsApp. The listing promised amenities that weren’t provided, and between that, the check-in, and the problems in the room, too many things fell short of a pleasant stay. In reply to the owner’s note: I understand what I booked. My comments aren’t about the type of booking, they’re about what the listing advertises and what was provided. Whether it’s a guest room or a hotel room, the shower door should be able to open...

This place felt so much like home that I didn’t want to leave. The accommodations were top notch, with a washer right in the unit. Compared with what you get here, four-star hotels have virtually the same amenities for twice the price. I stayed at Via Dante Alighieri, 11, 70121 Bari BA, Italy, and when I’m back in Bari, Apulia accommodation is the only place that comes to mind.

We had a comfortable stay in a clean, nice room. The host was friendly and helpful, and there are lots of cafés and restaurants right outside the B&B. It’s in a very central location. Highly recommended.
