We spent just one hour here before deciding to find somewhere else. The rooms felt old, the main door was noisy, and the thin walls let every sound through, so there was no chance of sleeping. The balcony was shared too, meaning other guests could be right outside our room and see or hear us. The place is a shared apartment with people from other countries, which wasn't disclosed on Booking.com. We paid for a private bathroom, but it was outside the room. And if you're going to shower, you might meet someone in the hallway, which felt inappropriate and could be unsafe, especially if that person were drunk. How is a bathroom private if it's outside the room? And how is the room private if other people in the apartment can enter it at any time? The host came across as arrogant and delusional, and the place was awful. After reading other comments about her responses to people, I didn't contact her to say we were leaving. The 'palace' is nowhere near a palace, it's a disaster. She wanted payment by bank transfer to an IBAN outside Booking.com, so I didn't know whether a refund would be possible if something went wrong. I wanted to avoid dealing with her, but I'm writing this to keep others from falling for what I see as a scam. We got no refund.

The room and bathroom were clean and ready for us, and our bathroom was directly across from the room. It was listed as private but outside the room, and that arrangement worked fine for us. We also had a nice balcony for relaxing in the evening. The owner communicated well, and we could leave our bags for free for four hours both before check-in and after our booking ended. Great spot near the old town and train station.

We were so pleased with the location and the service. The rooms were incredibly clean, and we appreciated that they were cleaned every day. A special thank you to the lady who got our room ready for early check-in. You're wonderful, thank you!

As soon as I booked, they messaged asking me to send money by online transfer outside the booking platform. That looked like a scam, and then they cancelled my booking. It's nice that the owner can reply quickly here afterward, but there was no communication on Booking.com. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

The location and air conditioning were the only good parts. We couldn't get any privacy because a cleaner kept knocking over and over, then looked through the windows to see if we'd left. It felt scary and uncomfortable. There was mold all over the shower ceiling, the door was hard to close, and we even found a bug in the bed. We left for somewhere else after one night. Noise carried throughout the building too, from footsteps to door locks.
