Room 56 - Le Dimore

For parking, try GestiPark. The rates are reasonable, it's a new parking structure, and it's a ten minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was clean, nice and quiet, right in the new town, close to shops and just a few minutes on foot from Bari Vecchio.

We did notice some noise coming through the walls and room door. We got lucky with quiet neighbors, but it could have been a bigger problem if they’d been noisy, as some other reviews mention. Otherwise, Room 56 exceeded our expectations. Our room was comfy, very clean and in an excellent location, with all the amenities we needed. There’s a fridge in the dining and kitchenette area, an extra pillow in the room, and fluffy, good quality towels. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty. They’re a bit basic, as is standard at Italian B&Bs, but had everything we needed to start the day: fruit, sweets, toast, ham, cheese, coffee, juice and yogurt. If we’re in Bari again, we’ll book Room 56. Highly recommended!

The hosts were very nice and accommodating, and we appreciated the complimentary orange juice, water and cookies. The location is fantastic, near the old town, shopping area and Bari Centrale station. From there, you can catch buses to the mall or cruise terminal. The rooms have poor sound insulation, which cost this place its fifth star. Guests coming and going at all hours, along with breakfast in the morning, made quite a bit of noise.

The location is perfect, and the bedrooms are clean and full of light. The bathroom is clean and fully equipped. The breakfast and coffee are delicious, and the lady serving breakfast is very nice and kind.
