We found the apartment spotless and well equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s very central but still quiet. The host was quick to reply and shared useful local advice. Thank you!
We wished we could have stayed longer. The host was so responsive and helpful, sharing advice and suggestions that made everything run smoothly. The place was adorable and had everything we needed. We loved exploring this charming part of Bari’s old town, where we felt safe, with plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. Our host also had great recommendations. This was the highlight of our Italy trip, and I’d recommend it 10/10.
I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening. The place was clean and had both AC and heat. Locals live in the building, so I got a little feeling of what life as a barese might be like.
We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. My husband, best friend and I spent 4 nights here in April 2025. We loved the neighborhood and the property, and never even turned on the TVs. Instead, we spent our time talking on the terrace and enjoying the area. Our favorite nearby stops included a coffee shop about 400 feet away for our morning visits, La Pagnotta for happy hour snacks and sandwiches, and Gentile gelato shop just around the corner. Gentile is supposedly the best gelato in the area, and we loved all three places. The room had AC, a terrific hairdryer by European standards, and a small shower with a great waterfall head and handheld sprayer. The hosts provided wine, coffee, tea and snacks, which we really appreciated. We mostly communicated with Francisco on WhatsApp and in person. He helped us with an electrical problem and was a gracious host, as was his mother. Finding the apartment takes some care. Look for the U'Russ food stand by a playground, then walk straight back through the opening into the neighborhood. Our cab dropped us near the statue of San Nicola, several blocks away, and from there it was a total maze to find Tresca Charme. I’d suggest using U'Russ as your destination or getting dropped at that intersection.
We booked a two-room apartment for three people, so there was plenty of space for everyone. It was modern, luxurious and clean, with all the utensils and equipment we needed for our vacation. The old town center is very close, and we especially liked the romantic little balcony and spacious terrace. I loved our stay.
