Visa Residence

The rooms were kept clean every day, and they brought fresh towels when we needed them. The staff were nice, and the place had what we needed for a holiday. Getting around took a while: Pomodoro Beach was about 45 minutes away, Bari Vecchia around 35, and Bari Centrale station roughly 30. The streets around the residence felt a bit rough and had a lot of rubbish. We also had a bad time on the third floor, right under the terrace. Noise carried through clearly, and we couldn't sleep. We asked people up there to quiet down at about 2 a.m., then the same thing happened two days later with a different group.

The staff were really great, and the rooms were large, with a separate lounge and kitchenette. Everything was clean and tidy. The area is a bit run-down and isn't one of Bari's nicer parts, though I didn't feel unsafe. It was easy enough to get around on foot, by bus, or by taxi.

The apartment was cleaned every day, and the staff were attentive and pleasant. It was spacious, had good facilities, and the rooftop terrace was cozy. The centre is a little way off, but the walk felt worthwhile. The nearest airport train station was 12 minutes away, and Bari Centrale or the city centre took about 20 minutes.

Inside, Visa residence was comfortable: our one-bedroom apartment had a kitchen and the things we needed for a short visit. The beds were comfortable, there was hot water, and the heating and cooling worked well. We also had a balcony, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. They cleaned the apartment each morning. The neighbourhood caught me off guard. I can't speak for all of Bari, but we chose to stay in the apartment until it was time to move on to another city.
