B&B Palazzo La Loggia

The room's lack of Wi-Fi was a drawback, though there was Wi-Fi in the lobby. Palazzo La Loggia is in a peaceful, remote spot near hiking trails, and the concierge offered maps and trail suggestions that made my mountain walks enjoyable. I also liked the historic building and the room's cozy rustic feel. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh pastries, local cheeses, and aromatic coffee, and the friendly staff accommodated my dietary needs each morning. The stay had some memorable positives, even with the room Wi-Fi issue.

The owner was welcoming and attentive, and the place was clean. In this beautiful Renaissance building, the rooms and gardens are lovely, and the quality for the price is excellent.

We loved the cooking here, with traditional recipes and genuine local flavors. The cace e ove (stuffed pasta with cheese and egg), homemade parrozzo, local lentils, and a glass of gentian after the meal all speak to the generous character of this land. The rooms were carefully maintained and spotless, with breathtaking views of the Abruzzo mountains, and the property balances comfort with tradition. The hosts are extraordinary, always ready with advice, smiles, and stories. From the warm welcome onward, staying at B&B La Loggia in Barisciano felt like time had slowed down. Every moment invited us to breathe, relax, and be looked after. A stay we won't forget, and would love to dream of experiencing again.
