We used the hotel as a base for visiting Amalfi during our three-night stay. The free parking was very handy, and the location is great, with markets nearby and the highway just a minute away. Staff were attentive and the breakfast had good choices. Everything was perfect apart from the missing tea kettle in the room.

The staff deserve credit for how professionally and competently they look after guests, with empathy as well as attention to detail. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the dinner and breakfast room service arrived promptly and was delicious, fresh, generous, and carefully prepared. For breakfast, a teapot would keep the water hot and let you have more than one cup. The lemon slices were more suited to cocktails than tea. Those are suggestions, not complaints. Our room was spotless, with all the bathroom essentials. The jetted tub was just the right size, and the towels and sheets seemed practically new. It was spacious, with plenty of workspace and modern USB ports in case you'd forgotten your charger. Good soundproofing, comfortable mattresses, extra soft linens, and two pillow choices all helped us sleep well. A notepad and pen with the hotel logo would make a nice reminder to book another trip, and a pen is also needed to order breakfast room service. They even provide a water bowl for your puppy. We stay in hotels often while travelling between north and south, and this is going to be our new favourite stop between Elba and Calabria. See you soon!

I was shocked by how rude and disrespectful the restaurant waitstaff were. They yelled at and mistreated guests, creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere, and showed no professionalism. I was also frustrated that not one team member could communicate in English to help international guests. Even a guest who spoke fluent Italian was treated with disdain. A hotel claiming to be four-star should provide better service. I strongly recommend this hotel only to people who want to be treated disrespectfully.

The bed was very large and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked. But this did not feel like four-star service. Over three days, the coffee, tea, and bathroom toiletries weren't replenished. The bathroom had mold and red stains. One of my two chamomile tea bags was taken during cleaning, so I asked for another and was told I could get one from the bar, meaning I'd have to pay for something removed from my room. I've had better service at a two-star hotel.
