When the town's only restaurant was closed, Mattia gave us a lift to a great place to eat and came back to collect us afterward. Really top-notch service. It's a lovely family-run BNB too, with clean, well-equipped rooms and a delicious breakfast.

Very kind hosts, a good location, and a great deal for the price. Breakfast was really good too.

We were sorry to leave. The place felt special, and it's ideally located for Campo Imperatore and the surrounding area. The garden and outdoor spaces are well cared for, with a breathtaking view of the Gran Sasso. Mattia and his family are extraordinary, so kind and welcoming. On our last evening, we bought arrosticini and Mattia's father grilled them for us, then picked some salad from the garden and brought it over. The rooms were spotless and sanitized, including with ozone. The bathroom was gleaming and had everything we needed: a hairdryer, personal care products, and very soft towels. There's a breakfast buffet available all day, plus free water and coffee in the well-stocked, spotless shared kitchen. Five stars, and I wish I could give more. We won't forget the experience.

A luxurious breakfast worthy of four stars, and you feel right at home with royal treatment. The renovated rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, and there's fenced parking and a garden. At B&B Il Girasole, they really know how to look after you. I'll be back.

A beautiful, peaceful B&B in the Abruzzo mountains. Mattia is legendary and always seems to know how to make a holiday relaxing. Highly recommended.
