We booked two nights with a Wonderbox voucher and had to pay €100 extra to use it. After the first night, we thought we might return someday, since the spa and the meals, breakfast and dinner, seemed reasonable at that price. But on the second night the main course portions were like starter portions, less than half the size. Maybe that was because we hadn’t ordered extras such as dessert from the second menu with priced items on the first night. We can’t know, because when we asked, the waiter said portions are always the same. The first night’s main course was also smaller than usual, nearly half. Maybe the stay would have been better without the voucher, and if we’d been willing to spend extra on dinner. Update: Reply to the comment received on 3/10/2024. In the email correspondence, they said the upgrade wasn’t due to an extra guest, who is only one year old, but because they were concerned we might complain about the small room. The second night’s main course might be explained as a small portion due to fancy presentation. But that doesn’t explain why the exact same dish we ordered on the first night was more than twice as large.

The dinners were fantastic, and getting around was easy even though the town is fairly remote. The staff were so welcoming despite my very poor Italian. Linda at the front desk was amazing, and when I needed to cut my trip short by a couple of days, they were incredibly understanding. I’d happily consider staying here again.

There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the little town is lovely, with friendly neighbors. Posta lived up to its rating: our room and the rest of the hotel were kept clean. The helpful staff, great breakfast spread, relaxing pool, mountain bike rentals, and other offerings made for an amazing stay.

If you have a car, this is a great base for exploring Bolzano, Trento, and the Dolomites around Sella Pass. The hotel was excellent value for the price, and the friendly, warm staff made us feel welcome. Breakfast was really good, especially the bacon and croissants, and the pool and sauna are included too.

In a lovely little mountain village not far from Trento, this family-run historic hotel has a top-quality restaurant and a really good wellness spa. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The staff were lovely, too. Five stars, highly recommended.
