Bed and Breakfast Botton D'Oro Basiglio

Finding the place was a real hassle at night, especially in the rain, with muddy streets, no signs, and several identical houses in the residence. It's also a long way from the bus stop for Humanitas. The welcome was unpleasant, and the receptionist came across as arrogant and even rude. Cleanliness was poor, too. The private bathroom for one room is very old-fashioned and has no shower, just an old, unsanitary bathtub. Highly discouraged.

We've stayed at Botton d'Oro several times, my husband, daughter, and I, and each visit has been lovely. The room was spotless and had every comfort, including the bathroom. The place is surrounded by greenery, and Silvia, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

A year later, I'm back at Botton d'Or, and it's still a sure thing for me. The welcome and facilities are what keep bringing me back. It's handy for Humanitas, and the countryside setting feels safe and pleasant, well away from the chaos.

My wife had surgery at Humanitas, which is how we found the Bottone D'oro B&B. The woman who runs it is full of energy, friendly, and cheerful, and she even takes you straight to the hospital. The rooms are big, full of light, and have all the comforts you'd expect from a hotel. We felt at home, and I can only recommend visiting the Bottone D'oro. You'll be thrilled.
