B&B Ca' Garibaldi

We stayed with friends before a wedding, and the location was fantastic, close to everything and very near the train station. Getting back to the hotel from the car park was easy, but we found the parking instructions confusing. Clear directions on a website, perhaps with a what3words location, would help. It also wasn’t obvious where parking was allowed once we were in the car park. It turned out to be a free-for-all except for spaces marked private. Our room was clean and nicely presented, and the views over the square were fantastic. The shower room was clean too, though the toilet flush buttons were coming off the wall, and I worried they might not stop flushing. We didn’t mind, but light sleepers should know the market is set up and the Piazza pressure-washed early on Saturday morning. Waking to see the market was a fun surprise. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options.

Being right in the pedestrian area made it easy to explore the city on foot, and there’s a garage nearby where you can leave the car for €10. The rooms were really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, freshly made for guests. A great place to stay, and I’d happily come back.

We were on the first floor of a historic building, with spacious modern rooms and bathrooms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English. Breakfast had a good selection, and there was secure parking nearby. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, too. A handy base for exploring the city.

Thanks to Rebbecca and Carlotta for such a warm welcome. The room was big and the place was clean. Shops are all around, but it still felt quiet and uncrowded. Restaurants and cocktail bars are only a few steps away, as is the Christmas market. I recommend it.
