The hotel is about 2 km from the city center, right on the way to some extraordinary mountain road-bike routes. There are bike rentals and a bike hotel on site too. We stayed at Alla Corte for two nights as a business group, and I felt very good there overall. The room was spacious, very clean, and nicely designed. The bathroom was excellent, and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, about a 7 out of 10. I found it odd that there wasn’t a simple omelette, and the variety could have been better. Special thanks to the very nice waitress who was quick to refill empty buffet plates. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, and I’d gladly spend a few days there again with my family.

We had a fantastic week at Alla Corte Hotel with our cycling club and would happily come back. The hotel, facilities, service, and especially the food were excellent. The staff were friendly, though a little more reserved than we expected. A lovely highlight was the grappa tasting the owner hosted on our last evening. Our rooms were very spacious, the firm mattresses were comfortable, and we appreciated being allowed to bring our road bikes into the rooms. We had a corner room without a balcony and didn’t miss having one. The halls and rooms could be noisy, but everyone was considerate, so it wasn’t a problem. It caters well to cyclists, and the free water dispensers in the hallways were a nice touch. Breakfast could have had more variety for cyclists, like fresh fruit and vegetables, muesli, nuts, and seeds. The machine coffee was okay. The breakfast room was small and charming, though there was nowhere to sit outside. We had à la carte half-board dinners at the hotel. The food was delicious, with an appetizer, first course, main, and dessert, and we preferred that to a buffet. The service was excellent too. It would be helpful to have a menu of other drinks to order, even at extra cost. We’d also have liked to use the bar in the evenings, but it always seemed to be closed. The outdoor space to the left of the entrance looked like a great place for warm summer evenings, though we visited in April/May. The owner only spoke Italian, but we managed to communicate well. He was very friendly and personable. I’d highly recommend Alla Corte Hotel, especially for cycling groups.

The restaurant looks lovely, and the food is delicious. We had a real pleasure at the New Year’s Eve dinner, and at checkout we got a wonderful surprise: the best lemon liqueur I’ve ever tasted. The hotel itself is beautiful, with very good staff and a nice view beside the hill with olive trees.
