Dommu Ala

The village was a real pleasure to stay in, with a minimarket, bar, bakery, clubs, taverns and an ice cream shop all close by. We could relax without constantly needing the car, and the terrace was lovely for sunset aperitivi each evening. Parking can be a little far away sometimes, but it wasn't a big concern in such a peaceful, authentic village. We were four friends last summer, and when a fifth person joined us for a couple of nights, the recently renovated apartment still had plenty of room and worked really well. It's carefully kept and in a charming typical Sardinian village, halfway between Cagliari and Olbia. We explored the popular coastal spots easily over a few days, without stress. The place has everything you need, so you can arrive and get straight into holiday mode. We also had a memorable dinner at nearby sheepfolds, authentic and delicious, a real taste of Sardinia. The owner was especially kind, attentive and always available, and gave us great tips on places to visit. It's pet-friendly too, so I'd love to come back with my dogs. We had a dream stay and can't wait to return.
