B&B Il Feriolo

The Feriolo is definitely worth a visit! We stayed in the Camelia room, and it was spotless, perfectly tidy, and just as lovely as the bathroom. Paola made us feel very well looked after. Breakfast was mostly sweet, with excellent homemade food, and the bread is well worth trying. My only small gripe is that the savory option costs extra and I wasn’t thrilled with that. That’s me being fussy, though 😇.

We found the room gorgeous, carefully finished, spotless, and with a wonderful romantic view of the lake. The B&B Il Feriolo was a great base for our few days at Lake Maggiore, and the value for money was excellent. The owner greeted us like old friends and was consistently so courteous. Breakfast was delicious every day, with everything homemade and offered so kindly. We also got clear, simple tips on places to see and visit. They followed the COVID rules impeccably. I’d highly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely come back when I return to the lake.

You can get around easily without a car from this really well-placed spot. Restaurants are practically right outside. A 10 out of 10.

Paola’s breakfast alone is a treat, especially the fantastic homemade cakes and excellent Italian espresso. The rooms are clean and fragrant, with thoughtful details and a lovely eye for design. Paola and Alberto gave us a warm welcome, and the charming village setting amid the Piedmont shore’s beautiful nature made for a relaxing holiday. It’s an idyllic place on Lake Maggiore, and the food, sights, sounds, and smells all made the stay memorable.
