This family-run site is relatively small and very well managed, with friendly and helpful staff, even at the end of the season. The facilities are five-star, and the showers are the best I’ve seen at any campsite in the UK or Europe. There’s a private beach, and some pitches are right by the lake. We were a couple of rows back but still had a view of the water and mountains. The on-site bar sells morning bread, and there’s a washing machine. Baveno is a short walk away for restaurants and boats. The only downside is the beach club next door, which plays music until the early hours. It wasn’t too bad in our van, but it would probably be annoying in a tent.

The owners are so friendly and helpful, and the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere makes every visit easy and welcoming. I come back regularly and always enjoy it. Camping Parisi is in a stunning spot right by the lake, with lovely views and just a short walk to the village, shops, and restaurants. Can’t wait to return!

We spent five days in a mobile home and had a great stay. It was clean, well equipped, and had a lovely feel to it. The staff were especially helpful when personal matters meant we had to cancel and rebook. The location on Lago Maggiore is wonderful, with a nice beach right on the water. Town and other services are within walking distance, and Baveno makes a great base for exploring the region. A couple of small things would make the stay smoother: basic kitchen items like salt, pepper, and dish soap would save guests arriving by plane from buying whole packages that go to waste. More bins in the mobile home would also help with the local recycling requirements. We hope to come back.

This is probably the best campsite on Lake Maggiore. It’s a manageable size, the pitch we got had plenty of room, and the staff were top notch. Everything was spotless. There’s direct access to the lake, with a dedicated lifeguard, so we had nothing to complain about.

The staff were friendly and the facilities were good, but the pitches are small. The beach club next door plays loud music at night and again early in the morning, which makes this a poor choice for anyone camping in a tent. It’s unfortunate, since the campsite isn’t responsible for the noise, but I wouldn’t recommend it to tent campers.
