Lago Maggiore Bay

The place is in top condition and feels very new. We always found plenty of space at the pool, and the view is stunning. The staff were super friendly. PS: Bring mosquito repellent ;)

We loved waking up to the beautiful Lago Maggiore views. The hotel was a peaceful, comfortable place to get away, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. Our room had a full kitchen and a cozy terrace, just right for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. A large supermarket with lots of fresh food is only a three-minute walk away, which was handy. We can’t wait to return.

The cabins along the water aren’t huge, but ours felt spacious and easy to enjoy. We were surprised to find two bathrooms, and cooking was straightforward with the cooktop, fridge, and kitchen equipment. It was hot when we arrived, but the air conditioning worked so well we had to turn it down. The pool and loungers were relaxing, and renting a paddleboard was easy. With plenty of room and few other guests, the place felt private and like a real getaway. We also used the pay laundry on site, which was a big bonus. The staff communicated really well before we arrived and during our stay, through WhatsApp and email. Our flight was delayed, and they waited for us. There’s a Conad across the street, literally a four-to-five-minute walk. We hadn’t expected spices or anything like that, despite one review mentioning them. I’d seen a wide range of reviews while researching, but our stay was amazing. Ten out of ten, highly recommend. We’d stay again.

The apartments are modern and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location by the lake is nice. The main problem is the noise: the property is beside a busy main road, and every car and motorbike could be heard at night. On top of that, someone was using a chainsaw in the area every night between 1 and 3 a.m. We couldn't sleep at all. A small fence doesn't address this, and noise barriers should be installed. The lake access also needs work. It’s concrete, with large rocks, seaweed, and a metal pipe in the middle that’s probably a waste outlet. It would be good to improve the area structurally and turn it into a pleasant beach.
