We stayed five nights. The room was spacious and very clean when we arrived, but the decor felt stuck in the 1980s. The kitchenette worked, though it had no oven and the hood light didn’t work, which made cooking inconvenient. Soap, shampoo and dish soap were supplied only on the first day. After that we had to go to reception every day to ask for more, which got tiring, even though the friendly staff always gave us what we needed. There was no daily cleaning, towel replacement or fresh bed linen during our stay. Parking was one of the biggest problems. Hotel parking costs extra each day, disappointing given the room price, and free street parking nearby is very limited, so finding a spot felt like competing in a crowded city. Instead of proper duvets, we got uncovered wool blankets. Having the blanket directly against your body was uncomfortable and felt unhygienic. I doubt they’re washed often between guests, which was unpleasant. Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and often required several logins each day. Our room had two showers: one was tiny with an old, uncomfortable showerhead, and the larger one had a modern head but leaked onto the bathroom floor because it wasn’t sealed properly. The hotel is near a public beach and offers access to a nearby water park, but the included access only covered the pool. The water slides cost extra, which was disappointing. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel felt old and poorly maintained, with service that didn’t rate more than two stars. With more care and investment in updates, it could be much more enjoyable, but as it is, the stay was underwhelming.

Those five days in suite 803 gave us wonderful views of the lake and mountains from its five balconies. We were the first guests in the new suite, and it was really lovely. But it wasn't cleaned during our stay, and fresh towels would have cost extra.

The apartment was nice and fairly priced, though it may feel costly when you consider that no other services are included. We had to sort the waste ourselves, there was no cleaning, and the towels were worn. Parking also came with a daily fee. The location was good, about a 10-minute walk from the noisy stretch of the street. There's a great pizzeria nearby, and a supermarket close by that shuts around 8 pm.

The main reason we booked was the pool, so discovering there wasn't one on site left us feeling misled. The advertised “pool” is a waterpark 2 km away. What they call a beach is public, across a very busy road and about a five-minute walk. We were disappointed by this presentation, and I can't recommend the place unless its advertising becomes more transparent. Our room, 610, was on the sixth floor in what seemed to be a newer section. Everything in it was new and in good condition. The staff were friendly, but checkout included a 5% “tip.” They said we could lower or remove it, yet it felt unacceptable given the limited staff contact and the lack of daily cleaning or breakfast at this hotel. Parking was €16.50 a day, though free spaces were easy to find outside if you don't mind walking a little.

The staff were helpful and nice, and there was underground parking. The apartments are large. Inside, things are getting a little old, though that's common with Italian hotels. It's rare to find a truly modern one.
