Cristiana even left us pasta in case we wanted to cook on our first evening, and there was also the option to pick fruit. We were there during blackberry season. The flat has good facilities and everything we needed. The owner and her family were warm, welcoming, and helpful, which made our Bellagio trip easy. It’s a pleasant 10-15 minute walk downhill to the center, and the uphill walk back felt worth it. I’d love to return and spend hours on that stunning balcony.

I’ve stayed here three times since 2014 and would move in if I could. The view from the porch is incredible, with both legs of Como visible, and there’s a lovely garden and parking out front. The house has three bedrooms, so it worked perfectly for a large family. The kitchen has everything for cooking, plus supplies for morning caffè, and there’s a comfortable living room to hang out in. The family who own it are some of the nicest people I’ve met. You can feel how much love and care they’ve put into their little paradise. They also run a family restaurant, Belvedere, which I highly recommend visiting.

The place smells bad, there are no cooking pots, and I don’t think the price for that Irish house is justified. The bathroom is older than your fat grandma, the kitchen is rotten, and there’s a patch of mold on the ceiling. The windows haven’t been painted, the hatches aren’t wide open, and there are no towels. The ones there smell of straw.
