Casa Ketty

We never heard or really saw the tenants downstairs, though we crossed paths as we headed into town. This is a private two-story residence, with a separate two-bedroom apartment on each floor. Ours had a balcony, two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and living and dining area. It was fully furnished with good WiFi, and the garage and laundry facilities were shared. The host was outstanding and easy to reach, and check-in and checkout were effortless. It took us about 12 minutes to walk to town on cobblestone steps. We liked being away from the daily tourist crowds, though my wife, who doesn’t do much cardio, needed a rest on the steps the first day while getting used to them. We’re in our mid-30s. I decided this deserved five stars while sitting on our private balcony with coffee, looking at the lake and the Alps behind it. What a stay.

Angela, the hostess, was so pleasant and wonderful. The house was clean and well equipped, and the view of Lake Como was breathtaking, the best in Bellagio. It felt like paradise on earth. We loved it!

Angela was our contact and she was amazing, so caring and helpful, including when we needed help finding emergency dental care. You can’t put a price on that kind of hospitality when you’re visiting a foreign country. At Casa Ketty, we woke up to beautiful views and found an amazingly clean apartment with fantastic amenities, including the ability to do our own laundry. Everything was just perfect.

The terrace has a lovely view, and Bellagio is only about a five-minute walk away. The apartment was really nice and fully equipped, with a garage for the car. A wonderfully quiet place.
