Nenè - Accommodation Il Vicolo

San Giovanni was a lovely little town, and we really enjoyed staying just outside Bellagio in this small spot. The location worked well, and we walked into and out of Bellagio every day. Be sure to stop at Nenè cafe for coffee or a drink, it’s a beautiful spot with a great cafe. We absolutely loved the Nenè Apartment. It was spacious, beautiful, and clean, and couldn’t have been better. Alissa was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach, and her advice meant a lot to us. Thanks, we look forward to staying here again!

The owner was welcoming and easy to reach with questions or recommendations. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I’d really recommend taking the cooking class 👌

Getting to the apartment from the ferry was easy, and being at the bottom of Bellagio meant we didn’t have to haul heavy luggage up lots of stairs. There are two good cafes, several restaurants, and a market just steps away. The spacious place has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and was comfortable, cool, and cozy, with spectacular lake views. It also had a washing machine, hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, dishes, and glassware. The owner was easy to reach on WhatsApp and even helped us arrange restaurant reservations ahead of time. Our family agreed it was our favorite stop in Italy and one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. I almost hesitate to write this because I’m worried it’ll be so booked we won’t get it again. Highly recommend!

The room was very clean and spacious, and the host was friendly and responsive. The location is good, about a minute from the ferry port and 3-5 minutes from the bus station. The port is quite small, though, and you need to check the bus and ferry schedules and allow time to get where you’re going. Still, it’s a lovely, beautiful, and quiet place to stay, and good value for the accommodation.
