The map pin isn’t quite right. Search for Hotel Maxim Axial instead, since it shares the entrance with this place, which is on the building’s fourth floor. The host’s self check-in instructions were clear. There’s a lift up to the rooms. The location is hard to beat, on a busy pedestrian street between the Duomo and the Uffizi and Arno river. I didn’t find it noisy at night, despite what other reviews said. The museums are under a ten-minute walk away, and the train station is a 12-minute walk. Restaurants, shops, and supermarkets are nearby. Our room was compact but had what we needed, including a roomy bathroom and mini fridge. The bedding and pillows were comfortable. There’s a shared area with cooking space and small tables. The place was left very clean and tidy, and there was plenty of soap in the bathroom and shampoo and body wash in the shower.
