Villa Bellagio

The room was clean and comfortable, with a large terrace looking out over the lake and mountains. It was a lovely place to relax, and the freshly made breakfast each morning was simple but clearly prepared with care. The host and manager were both welcoming and generous with their time. They sometimes offered us a ride into town, which we appreciated, though lifts aren’t guaranteed. There are only stairs up to the rooms, so keep that in mind with heavy bags. The quiet, scenic setting and the room size made this B&B a much more affordable option than staying in central Bellagio, with lovely views and good value. The tradeoff is getting around: the center is about a 40-minute walk away, along a steep, winding road without pavements that felt unsafe, especially after dark. Buses are infrequent and often crowded, and a taxi costs a flat €20 each way. There aren’t any nearby restaurants, so lunch and dinner mean heading back into town. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place if you’re happy to stay away from the center, but meals and transport need planning.

Giada was a lovely host and helped us sort out getting to and from the hotel. Julian, the owner, even drove us into the center, which says a lot about their service. The BNB itself was great, with charming, very clean rooms stocked with what we needed, and a warm, tasty breakfast. I’d highly recommend it for a couples trip in Bellagio.

We were very happy with our four-night stay by Lake Como. The host gave us a warm welcome, and the rooms were clean, if a little dated, with good value for money. Breakfast on the terrace came with beautiful views. Parking was fine, though tight when all the guests had cars. The location worked well, an easy 5-10 minute drive to Bellagio.

We felt welcome from the minute we arrived. Since it was our first time here, they gave us really helpful tips on where to go and what to do. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced, and we loved the fantastic breakfast and everything about our stay. It’s only a 3 minute drive to the Bellagio Centre. We’ll be very happy to come back to the Bellagio bed and breakfast 😁
