For me, the lake views from Borgo Verginate made the steep daily drive worthwhile. It's a beautiful place, set well away from things, with complete quiet. Bellano's downtown is about a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive. The house has several apartments, each with a balcony. Ours was spacious, and in September 2018 everything looked newly refurbished and spotless. The kitchen was well equipped and a pleasure to use. The hosts were welcoming, charming, and very friendly. Communication was quick and easy. I'd love to stay at this lovely place again!
