We found everything clean, new, and laid out in a practical way. The owners weren’t there in person, but they were reachable, answered all our questions, and sent detailed check-in instructions. The apartment had two bedrooms, a large sofa that opens into a wide bed, and a fully equipped bathroom with a washing machine and detergent. The kitchen had an oven, microwave, electric stove, all the dishes we could want, a dishwasher with washing gel, and an espresso machine with capsules, plus sugar, salt, vinegar, and oil. It’s right on the main street in a perfect central spot, with a lake view, but we didn’t hear any street noise. We didn’t use the TV, though we enjoyed listening to music on the Bluetooth speaker. We couldn’t have picked a better place.

The attention to detail, furnishings, and cleanliness made a great first impression. There’s also a cellar where you can buy and taste excellent wine while looking out over the lake. The apartment is right in the heart of Bellano, with a lake view, just steps from the ferry dock and all the amenities.

The photos on Google are outdated, and the apartment turned out to be a wonderful surprise. It had been completely renovated with care, and walking in gave me an instant wow reaction. I was lucky to stay there in early November 2019. Lake Como and its snow-covered mountains were visible from both the living room-kitchen window and the bathroom. The changing light over the lake and mountains was lovely at every time of day. The apartment is spacious, warm, and had every comfort I could want. I felt at home, and Netflix was a real bonus on winter days. The new walk-in shower was great, and the room I slept in felt relaxing, with a super comfortable mattress. I hadn’t slept that well in a long time. It’s in the heart of Bellano, across from the Navigazione Laghi, just a few steps from the water and the village’s amenities. I love photography, so I used a few beautiful days to take pictures to share and to show the apartment as it is, beyond the old, dated reviews. I hope to return soon to this beautiful corner of Lake Como. Thank you!
