Il porticciolo

The host was extremely accommodating, and it was nice to find brochures for things to do nearby. The station is only a few meters away, and there’s direct access to the lake. Free parking is available by the entrance, though it’s often taken. Parking around Bellano turned out to be a real problem. We got lucky and found a free space not far from the apartment, where we left the car for several days, then used the train when we could. Otherwise, parking is paid. The studio is small but fully equipped and comfortable. The kitchen has a dishwasher, the bathroom has a washing machine and spacious shower, and there’s plenty of living room space even with the sofa bed. We had a large dog with us, and it fit comfortably. They’d also left oil, coffee, and other supplies, which you don’t always find in an apartment.
