Lucy'S House

Bellano worked well as a base for seeing Lake Como, and it still wasn't overrun with tourists. Bergamo, Como, and Milan were each about an hour away by car. Our landlord was easy to reach on WhatsApp, and communicating in English was seamless. From both terraces, large and small, we had superb views of Lake Como. The furnishings matched the description, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The fridge's freezer compartment was very useful. There was air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room, which we used now and then. With the keys, we got an electric push-button key for the main entrance gate, so parking right at the apartment was easy and secure. There's a footpath to Bellano through narrow streets, but you have to find it first. I mapped it with Komoot before the trip because Google Maps doesn't show it as a route. The walk takes around 15-20 minutes. Coming back is harder, with a few hills to climb.

It suited us perfectly as a couple traveling with two children. Parking inside the property was easy, and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. Both the large and small terraces had magnificent views of Lake Como.

The terraces have stunning views, and the apartment itself is very clean and cozy. Shops, restaurants, the train station, and the port are all close by.

I had a lovely time in this beautiful house by the lake. Everything was perfect, and I'd highly recommend it.
