Meridiana Boutique Hotel

The rooms were cozy, and the air conditioning kept everything comfortable during our three-night stay. The hotel is only a few minutes on foot from the city center, while the nights were pleasantly quiet. The people working there made the experience. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The young man at reception deserves a special mention: he was one of the kindest people I’ve met, and very professional too. The other receptionists, bartender, and restaurant staff were attentive and exceptionally pleasant. Their hospitality made us feel at home. We had a perfect stay, thank you!

The room we stayed in was the Terrace View, a romantic, peaceful space with a balcony wrapping around the whole room and looking over the lake and beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the water was so calming. The restaurant was buonissimo too, with an exquisite menu, a top-notch chef, and a spectacular view. Angelo, Both Stefanos, Carola and Ale, and the rest of the team looked after us warmly and attentively from start to finish. Meridiana Hotel felt like a home away from home, and it’s Lake Como’s best-kept secret. We’re glad we chose Bellano and Meridiana Hotel after finding it hard to decide where to stay. Orrido di Bellano is stunning and a must-see. We’ll definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We had a lovely evening with the family, and I’d happily do the beef cooked right there again. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed a tasty wine from a local vineyard. I recommend booking ahead.

The private beach is a lovely place to swim, and it’s just a short walk into the old town. From the room and terrace, the views are stunning. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Our air conditioning was quiet, and the room had shutters if you’d rather leave the door open. You might find you don’t want to leave Bellano for the better-known, much busier towns around the lake.
