B&B La Villetta

I spend work weekends in hotels all over Italy, and this was a great experience. The owners were very kind, the room was comfortable, and everything was impeccably clean. Wi-Fi was good, the air conditioning worked well, and there were Sky channels, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. My car was kept securely on the property. It's a quiet spot. I have nothing to complain about compared with four-star hotels.

We'd happily come back. The owners were warm and welcoming, and there was indoor parking. The newly furnished bedroom and bathroom are well arranged, making for a comfortable stay. It's a brand-new, inviting place surrounded by greenery. One of the few properties whose website photos look genuine.

I was breaking up a long drive from Milan to Puglia with a single night's stop, but after I explained that I had two dogs, I got a phone call asking me to cancel my Booking.com reservation. There was no apology or alternative. The message had been that pets were welcome, provided they were small or medium-sized. That comment felt completely inappropriate. It's like saying everyone is welcome as long as they're blond with blue eyes. My dogs are large, but well-behaved and used to travelling and staying in hotels. Every winter they've stayed at five-star places without any issue. If you have big pets, be aware that their idea of being pet-friendly only covers animals that meet their arbitrary standards.

Private parking is gated, and the location is convenient. The place is beautiful and has what you need, including underfloor heating, room heating, terraces, an ensuite bathroom, and a TV in the room. Breakfast was simple but good. The people running it were wonderful, serious, and kind. Highly recommended.
