Albergo Villa Lucia

The cappuccino foam here is the most delicious in the world. The café also has a lovely local feel, with a calm, cozy atmosphere and outstanding service. It’s a place I can’t praise highly enough.

The staff were lovely and spoke English. Francesco checked us in. The rooms were decent and had bathrooms 👍 Downstairs there’s a bar with amazing, cozy furniture 🛋️ Check the video. Breakfast was amazing too, with something for everyone. You can pick from what’s laid out or order eggs, pancakes, piadina, and more. The photos and video show it well, definitely worth a look 🙌

Wisteria greeted me every morning, visible, close enough to touch, and fragrant from the window or balcony. And Paolo and Francesco clearly love what they do. It was a real pleasure meeting people like them. The owners were attentive to every detail and made me feel at home. They made their two-star hotel feel like a five-star stay, and then some. I’ll be back next year.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We booked a room for three, but two of us had trouble on the road and arrived late for check-in. The third person got there on time with all three IDs, but the hotel still wouldn’t let us all stay. They showed no flexibility. Only one person was allowed to sleep there that night, even though they could technically have made an exception and let the rest of us arrive shortly after check-in time. When we went to speak to them in the morning, they insulted us and our family very badly. It was an awful experience. If you have another option, take it.
