Hotel Grado

Really good.

We found just the place to relax and feel comfortable, and I hope we can come back. I stayed for a week at Hotel Grado with my best friend and our dogs. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful from the first day through the second day. We ate so well that I'm not sure how many pounds we came home with, but it was worth it. Thanks to all the staff. We made friends with other guests and felt a bit like family. Being close to the beach was really convenient with our pets. I highly recommend it, and our furry friends say thank you too 🐶🐶

Lunch and dinner service could be quicker between courses, especially when you're with small children. Still, this small issue didn't take away from a very satisfying stay at Hotel Grado in Igea Marina, Bellaria, from August 22nd to 28th. We had a triple room with full board, with water and wine included at meals. The place is simple, well cared for, and has the essentials for an easy holiday. The owners were always helpful and ready to meet guests' needs. Every day brought generous portions and a wide variety of tasty dishes, enough for adults and children alike. We made good use of the bicycles, all in good condition, some with child seats, and got around without always needing the car. There were several convenient parking spaces out front. When they were full, an alternative spot 150 meters away was available. The beach was easy to reach on foot with small children, and the affiliated beach resort was well equipped and organized. Our room was basic but comfortable and had what we needed. We chose one without a balcony to save money after already being on vacation, but there was a useful clothesline by the window. An empty refrigerator was available for our things, and the shower was especially comfortable, with multiple water jets. Hotel Grado is simple, affordable, and family-friendly, with excellent food and well-organized services. You can tell it's run with care. We came home very happy and will keep it in mind for the future.

A quiet getaway, about five minutes from the beach. A short walk along the seafront takes you into the center of Igea Marina. The food was excellent and plentiful, and our clean rooms were perfectly adequate. The owners and staff were friendly and ready to help with any request. A lovely discovery, and I'd recommend it. I'd go back if I get the chance.
