Novalesi House

There's a lovely plaza less than 100 steps away, with shops, cafes, and a great restaurant. The famous Castle, or its two towers and moat, is just down the street, and Eurospar is an 8 minute walk. Parking is first come, first served right outside. Inside, the flat is clean and attractive, with wood beams and travertine floors. The living room has a large table and a nice sized TV. The kitchen has a gas stove, fridge, and a microwave that only works sometimes. One queen bedroom has a tiny attached bathroom; there's also a twin room and a queen loft. The loft and twin room share the big bathroom, which has a tub and a washer but no dryer. There are some awkward bits. You have to climb a flight of stairs to get in, and the tiny second bathroom is hard to turn around in, even for an average sized person. There's nowhere to store towels or hang clothes in the bedrooms, and anyone in the loft has to go downstairs to use the big bathroom. The dresser and nightstand drawers are nearly impossible to open. There weren't basics like dish soap, salt or sugar, paper towels, laundry detergent, or even a clean sponge. Even with those drawbacks, it's a nice place and we're enjoying our visit.
