Hotel Bolognese

The owner and host is a really great guy!

What stood out most was how kind and helpful everyone was. The staff were always ready to meet a need with a smile, and we felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. Matteo was an excellent guide, and Serena took such good care of us at lunch and dinner. The Hotel Bolognese is also very clean, from the rooms to the shared spaces, and it’s well located near both the beach and the train station. The food was excellent, with lots of vegetables at the buffet and a choice of three first courses and three second courses, including a vegetarian option every time. They were careful about allergies and intolerances too. We’ll definitely come back!

The breakfast team deserves a special mention, they were truly excellent. There’s a restaurant at the hotel, though I can’t comment on more than that since we almost always ate lunch and dinner at the beach. We stayed just a few days, but felt like family straight away. The hotel is only three minutes from the beach and close to all the amenities in central Igea Marina. Rooms are spacious and well organized, very clean, and wonderfully quiet. The owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel as if you’ve been there forever. Five stars, absolutely deserved. If groups of kids traveling for sports tournaments bother you, you may want to ask before booking. We’ve personally stayed with several sports clubs in Romagna for tournaments, and despite the large groups, the hotel has always been ready to accommodate everything. Thanks, we’ll be back. Patrizio

The owner was warm and helpful, and the team really made the stay. At breakfast, even with the sports camp groups that week, the staff kept the buffet stocked and the wait short. Breakfast itself had plenty of sweet and savory choices. The bartender was great too, making excellent cocktails and always greeting us with a smile. The hotel is in a quiet spot, but only a three-minute walk from the beach and town center. Our spacious room had a large balcony shared with other rooms, a nearly new bathroom, and was spotless. There’s a bar and restaurant area for lunch and dinner, though we only used it for breakfast. The outdoor tables are lovely for an aperitif or coffee. On Pink Night Saturday, they held a foam party with 90s music in a space beside the hotel. After walking around Igea all evening, we thought it was the most fun and best-run event in the area. We’ll definitely return, thank you so much 🙏🏻
