Hotel Brienz

A lovely spot by the beach, with a welcoming feel. Our room was clean and cozy.

The hotel was a wonderful choice for our wedding guests and for us. Viviana, her daughter Eugenia, her husband, and her son welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. They treated us like we were being spoiled, always with a smile, and made breakfast with homemade cakes alongside a great sweet and savory buffet. The whole hotel and the rooms were spotless and carefully looked after, and we had a beautiful sea view. Thank you for all the love. Hope to see you soon ❤️

The food was a real highlight, with excellent dishes and a very good menu. The hotel is right by the sea, the dining room has a stunning view, and it’s also within walking distance of the train station. I stayed for three days, but the tiny bathroom in my double room was a real problem. Two people could barely fit, and it wasn’t practical at all: there wasn’t even a single hook for a towel or a plastic cup for my toothbrush, so I had to leave my towels on a wet chair. For a three-star hotel, I’d expect those basics. I later tried to book again and planned to ask for a different room. The owner said she’d call back to check availability, but never did. I’d recommend it if being close to the beach and eating well are what matter most to you.

The meals were excellent, with every dish made using quality ingredients. We were also welcomed with real warmth and kindness by the owners as soon as we arrived, which made the stay even nicer. It’s a comfortable, relaxing beachfront place, and I’d happily recommend it. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
