Hotel Flora

The owners were so kind and ready to help with anything we needed, and the food was delicious. My daughter and I spent three days here and came away feeling completely relaxed. Our room was comfortable and roomy, and the hotel is right on the main street, just a few steps from the sea. They also have free bikes, including a fun tandem, and indoor parking.

We came back after a great stay last year and were just as pleased this time. The staff were lovely, the food was excellent, and the location worked really well. They were especially thoughtful with our little girl: we could feed her earlier, they stored her special food, and there was a baby bath available.

The dining room staff were attentive and professional, always greeting us with a smile, and housekeeping left the rooms spotless each day. We ate half-board, with a generous buffet before meals and a good range of well-prepared meat and fish dishes. Breakfast had plenty of sweet and savory choices. The hotel is in central Igea Marina on a lovely shaded pedestrian street, though you can drive up to unload and use the fenced parking next door. Our room was comfortable and had both a ceiling fan and air conditioning, though using the AC costs extra. The staff were discreet, friendly, and quick to help. We asked to switch rooms for personal reasons and they were able to arrange it. Thanks to the owners and everyone for making us feel so welcome. We’d happily stay again. One small suggestion, a mini-fridge in the rooms would be useful. Giovanni & family.

We had a couple of unexpected things come up, and they helped us out without making us feel like a burden. That kindness really matters. Mr. Paolo, his sister, and his nephew Giulio have a way of making you feel like you’re part of a big family, even though I’d last been here several years ago. Manuel was thoughtful and very kind too, and all the staff were wonderful. The food was top-notch, the price was good for what you get, and the sea is very close. It’s the kind of place I want to come back to. I couldn’t have asked for better.
