A fantastic hotel.

Our week with the family was really enjoyable, and the hotel's right on the Bellaria seafront. Via Guido Paoli is only about a five-minute walk away. The rooms have been recently renovated and felt modern, welcoming, and very clean. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. During Ferragosto week there were popular events, including aperitifs and live music evenings, which added to the stay. We also appreciated the cuisine: a varied buffet with excellent food, plus dishes from a daily menu served at the table. We didn't have the same dishes twice all week. There was even a microwave table for heating or preparing baby food, a useful touch when travelling with children. Beach No. 47 is right in front of the hotel and suited our needs very well.

The location is excellent, right on the beach, and the hotel has been nicely renovated inside and out through the third floor, despite being dated. Our quadruple room had what we needed, though we spent three nights with a fifth person and only four beds. In the end, the little girl slept in the double room with us. We paid an extra €60 for a sea-view room, but could only see the water by leaning over the balcony wall. The room was spotty and always dirty, the beds were poorly made, and towels never covered everyone. Parking was another frustration. There aren't many unreserved spaces, which is understandable, but we kept asking about them and were told they were booked. For three days, though, they sat empty. The other lot is about a kilometre away, a fenced field with a gate. You need a key from reception to get in, which means going back there whenever you need the car. It would be much easier if the room card worked. The shuttle is guaranteed only at arrival or departure. At other times you can't book it, and even when it's supposed to run, you have to queue and it may not be available. The dining room gets cramped when everyone arrives together, though the kitchen is adequate. Adelina was lovely, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. At reception, the people I dealt with seemed superficial and unprepared, with poor organization. They didn't help us or try to arrange the services we'd clearly asked for. It's a three-star hotel, so there are limits, but I think they could be more attentive to guests. The Riviera holiday rush makes people settle for less. A little more care and effort could turn a place you'd forget into a destination you remember.

The beach is right across from the hotel, and the staff there were extremely friendly. Our stay was clean and very quiet, with excellent organization and a warm welcome. We were in room 104, one of the newly renovated double rooms on the first floor. A big thank you to Sandra, Angela, and Ledi. They're professional and so kind, even when dealing with people who aren't very friendly. I'm deeply grateful for everything they did to make our time pleasant and relaxing.
