After two weeks there, I found the young staff friendly at check-in and the room was kept clean. The rooms aren’t modern, but they are clean. There’s no hairdryer in the bathroom, though you can ask reception for one. The refrigerator can’t be switched on, and there’s no kettle, unlike in other 3-star hotels. Breakfast really needs work. The buffet was meager, with just one savory choice, and it was always slices of Milanese salami. No ham or other options. The usual cheese and hard-boiled or scrambled eggs were there, but the menu never changed. Hot drinks like cappuccino and coffee are served by staff who can be a bit absent-minded, so you may need to ask several times. It can feel stressful trying to get a proper buffet, and breakfast wasn’t something I looked forward to in the morning.
