Hotel Orizzonte

The people working here are nice, and breakfast is generous. The rooms aren’t huge, but there’s a pool and spa inside the hotel. It’s right by the sea.

We came across the place by chance while in town for the Vasco concert and stayed for four full days. We were at Villa Ariosa, which is also managed by the hotel. The room was spotless and had air conditioning. The price included a buffet and à la carte restaurant, plus sweet and savory breakfasts and generous lunches and dinners with lots of variety. Every member of staff was extremely kind and helpful, from the chefs, waiters, receptionists, bartenders, and housekeeping team. A heartfelt thanks to Roberto, "our" waiter, who took great care of us throughout the stay. We’ll return as soon as we can.

The indoor pool was a real help with little kids, especially during the hottest part of the day when we didn't want to be out on the beach. We also loved the restaurant, both the buffet and the menu, and Mr. Mario was such a friendly, accommodating waiter. The whole team made us feel welcome. The hotel is clean and well looked after, right across from the beach and only a few metres from town. This was our second family holiday at Hotel L'Orrizonte, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year.

The food really stood out for us. There was plenty at the buffet every day, and the quality was great. We could also have lunch and dinner within an hour, which we appreciated, with excellent dishes available from the menu as well. The staff were always smiling and ready to help, from the chefs and dining room team who made us feel looked after and joked with us to the entertainment staff, who were good without being pushy. There were different activities each day, including garden aperitifs, grappa tastings and traditional evenings. After many years in Bellaria, this felt like a hotel with everything in place. Thank you, Hotel Horizonte, for a relaxing holiday with my wife and my son Leonardo. We'll definitely be back.
